A proposed law, “The Quantity Surveyors Bill, 2026,” was introduced in the National Assembly of the Republic of Kenya on 20th February 2026.
It seeks to establish the Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya, regulate the practice of quantity surveying, provide for the registration and licensing of quantity surveyors, and provide for the discipline, standards, professional conduct, and accreditation, amongst other purposes detailed in the bill.
